How to Create a New Interaction

<aside> 💡 This article will outline the steps to create a new interaction in your Gander account.

1. Add a new interaction:

To add a new interaction, start by clicking the "Interactions" tab on the lefthand side of your screen
Click the blue "+ Add New Interaction" button at the top right of the screen
Select an interaction template to get started

2. Build an Interaction

To start building your interaction, click the blue "+ Add New Question" button at the top left of your screen

There are 5 question types to select from:
1. Multiple choice: Allow customers to have one selection or multiple selections
2. Picture Choice: Allow your customers to select a picture that resonates with them the most to answer that question (ie, which foundation shade is your best match)
3. Short Answer: Allow your customer to type out their response (ie, collecting phone number or email)
4. Call to Action: Allow your customers to click on a button that brings them to another page (ie, a product page or add to cart)
5. Add to Cart: Allow your customers to add a product directly to their cart from the video they are watching. This feature also allows customers to specify things like size or color for example.

Select the question type you would like to add to the interaction and start creating questions for your interaction. You can add multiple different questions within the same interaction if you would like

3. Save Changes

After you fill in the fields for each question, please be sure to click the blue "Save Changes" button at the bottom right. You will notice the question will be saved under "Your Questions" to the lefthand side of the screen

4. Publish Interaction & Link Interaction

Once all your questions have been saved and added, please be sure to click the blue "Publish" button at the top right of your screen to publish the finished interaction in your Gander account
Your new interaction will show up under the "Manage Interactions" table in the "Interactions" tab. Now you can head to any of the videos on the videos tab to attach any existing interactions to a video on your site!
